Consultation has concluded
Public input on the 2026 Town Budget was gathered through:
A Citizen Input Survey;
An online Budget Open House; and
In-person Coffee with Council events (Disc Golf Grand Opening, the Ponoka Farmers' Market and Ponoka's Community Registration Night).
Citizen input on the 2026 Town of Ponoka Annual Budget will be collected and presented to Town Council for careful review and consideration during the 2026 Budget deliberation process.
The Citizen Input Survey results are also carefully reviewed by Town Administration before preparing the 2026 Draft Budget documents for Council review and deliberations. Click here to view the summary of what residents shared with the Town.
Budget deliberations were held on November 26, 27 and 28 in Council Chambers on the third floor of the Ponoka Civic Centre. Budget deliberations are open to the public.
Following budget deliberations, a 2026 Interim Town Budget was approved by Ponoka Town Council at the December 9 Regular Council Meeting. For more details about the 2026 Interim Town Budget, please click here.
The 2026 Final Budget will be presented to Council in the spring of 2026.
