The 2025 Budget Consultation Survey is now closed.

Thank you for your feedback on the 2025 Town of Ponoka Budget.

Public input on the budget was gathered this past summer through:

  • A Citizen Input Survey;
  • An online Budget Open House; and
  • In-person Coffee with Council events (at the Off-Leash Dog Park Grand Opening in June, and the Community Registration and Job Fair Event in August).

Citizen input on the 2025 Town of Ponoka Annual Budget will be presented to Town Council for careful review and consideration during the 2025 Budget deliberation process.

Town Council budget deliberations will be held on Tuesday, October 29 and Wednesday, October 30 in Council Chambers on the third floor of the Ponoka Civic Centre. Budget deliberations are open to the public.

Based on the direction provided by Town Council during the budget deliberations, an Interim Budget will presented by Town Administration to Council for consideration.

The results of 2025 Budget Consultation Surveys will be posted here after they are presented to Council at the end of October.

Citizen Satisfaction Survey

The Town of Ponoka also conducted a statistically representative survey in 2022 in which 400 citizens were randomly selected to participate in phone interviews to determine their views on topics, such as: quality of life in the community, satisfaction levels with municipal services, and priorities that citizens would like Council to consider during budget and strategic planning.

These survey results provide Council with a statistically valid baseline measurement of citizen opinion for Council’s consideration during its four-year term in office. Click here to view the 2022 Citizen Satisfaction Survey Results or click on the ‘Documents’ section of this page.
